My Week in Books – 11th October 2026

Monday – I published my September Wrap-Up.

Tuesday – This week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic was Happy Memories. As someone who – when not reading – loves nothing more than spending time in the garden, my take on the topic was Happy Memories of the Horticultural Kind. I also shared a guest post by Robert Porter, author of historical novel The Winter Raven: The Pirate of Boscastle Bay.

Wednesday – As always #WWWWednesday is a weekly opportunity to share what I’ve just read, what I’m currently reading and what I plan to read next… and to take a peek at what others are reading.

Friday – I shared my review of short story collection Creatures of Circumstance by W. Somerset Maugham, the book chosen for me in the latest Classics Club spin.

Saturday – I joined other gardeners for #SixonSaturday sharing six things from my garden this week.

Not a sausage…

I’m reading May We Feed the King by Rebecca Perry (shortlisted for the Booker Prize 2026), The Wolf’s Oath by Tim Hodkinson from my NetGalley shelf and listening to the audiobook of Three Summers by Karen Swan, my book club’s pick for October.

Nothing much in the way of reviews as I’m on holiday!
