It’s time for another Classics Club Spin. Here’s how it works:

  • Before Sunday 16th August, list 20 books that remain to be read on your Classics Club list. (This is your Spin list.)
  • On 16th August the folks at The Classics Club will post a number between 1 and 20.
  • The challenge is to read whatever book falls under that number on your Spin list by 4th October 2026.

  2. That’s a great list. Of the few I’ve read, I particularly loved Alone in Berlin and The King’s General, but I hope you get one of the short story collections if that’s what you’re in the mood for. Good luck!

    1. I’ll be quite honest, I’m hoping for something short because I have so many September ARCs I want to read from authors whose books I enjoy – Kate Atkinson, Sebastian Barry, Sebastian Faulks….
