My Week in Books – 12th July 2026

Tuesday – My contribution for this week’s Top Ten Tuesday was Books With The Word ‘Woman’ in the Title. I also shared my review of historical novel A Fatal Love by Louisa Treger, based on the true story of Ruth Ellis who was the last woman to be executed in Britain. Coincidentally, this week she was finally given a ‘conditional pardon’ following decades of campaigning by her family.

Wednesday – As always WWW Wednesday is a weekly opportunity to share what I’ve just read, what I’m currently reading and what I plan to read next… and to take a peek at what others are reading.

Saturday – I joined other gardeners for #SixonSaturday sharing six things from my garden this week. I also published my reviews of Where Are the Kings by Donal Ryan and Invitation from a Dictator by Rory Clements.

Not a sausage…

I’m reading The Eagle & the Wolf by Gordon Doherty from my NetGalley shelf, an ARC of The Millionaire Waltz by Anthony Quinn and I’m listening to the audiobook of The Draw of the Sea by Wyl Menmuir.
