#TopTenTuesday Ten Books I’ve Read With Blue In The Title #TuesdayBookBlog

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl.

The rules are simple:

  • Each Tuesday, Jana assigns a new topic. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want.
  • Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to That Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.
  • Add your name to the Linky widget on that day’s post so that everyone can check out other bloggers’ lists.
  • Or if you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is Books with the Word [X] in the Title. Inspired by two of Douglas Bruton’s books, I’ve chosen the word ‘Blue’. Links will take you to my reviews.

  1. Blue Postcards by Douglas Bruton
  2. Woman in Blue by Douglas Bruton
  3. China Blue by Madalyn Morgan
  4. Blue Shoes and Happiness by Alexander McCall Smith
  5. The Boy With Blue Trousers by Carol Jones
  6. Monopoli Blues by Tim Clark & Nick Cook
  7. The Blue by Nancy Bilyeau
  8. Prussian Blue by Phillip Kerr
  9. Bluebird, Bluebird by Attica Locke
  10. The Blue Room by Georges Simenon

  1. Love reading these challenges. It’s a way of finding new treasures in unexpected places. I also love Georges Simenon’s writing so The Blue Room is now in my must-buy list, especially after reading your review on Goodreads. Is it a  Maigret novel?

  2. One of the prompts for the 52 Book Club is a book with “Blue” in the title. I will check these out to see which one I might like to read.
