#TopTenTuesday Books With ‘Night’ in the Title #TuesdayBookBlog

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl.

The rules are simple:

  • Each Tuesday, Jana assigns a new topic. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want.
  • Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to That Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.
  • Add your name to the Linky widget on that day’s post so that everyone can check out other bloggers’ lists.
  • Or if you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is Books That Live in My Head Rent-Free. I’m going to blame the heat for the fact I couldn’t think of any books that met that description. Instead I’ve done another version of a recent topic – Book Titles That Include the Word [“X”] – but chosen a different word: Night. Links from each title will take you to my review.

  1. The Night Swimmer by Simon J. Houlton
  2. Our Souls at Night by Kent Haruf
  3. Night Train to Marrakech by Dinah Jeffries
  4. The Night Raids by Jim Kelly
  5. Dead of Night by Simon Scarrow
  6. The Night Ship by Jess Kidd
  7. The Night Shift by Alex Finlay
  8. A Night of Flames by Matthew Harffy
  9. Daughters of Night by Laura Shepherd-Robinson
  10. The Night of the Flood by Zoe Somerville

  1. My brain couldn’t tackle this topic either. The heat is a great source to blame (rather than my aging memory)! Ha ha. I probably have a lot of “night” books on my TBR list, too. It’s a popular word in mystery/thriller and historical fiction titles. Great topic.

    Happy TTT!
