Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl.
The rules are simple:
- Each Tuesday, Jana assigns a new topic. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want.
- Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to That Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.
- Add your name to the Linky widget on that day’s post so that everyone can check out other bloggers’ lists.
- Or if you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.
This week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is Most Recent Additions to My Bookshelf. I’ve restricted myself to books I’ve not yet read. Links from each title will take you to the book description on Goodreads.
- A Wildflower Year by Frances Tophill (Christmas gift!)
- The Pretender by Jo Harkin
- The Eights by Joanna Miller
- The Artist by Lucy Steeds
- Fly, Wild Swans: My Mother, Myself and China by Jung Chan
- Supremacy: AI, ChatGPT and the Race That Will Change the World by Parmy Olson
- The Names by Florence Knapp
- Benbecula by Graeme Macrae Burnet
- The Other Side of Paradise by Vanessa Beaumont
- The Shock of the Light by Lori Inglis Hall (via NetGalley)
What books have have been added to your actual/virtual shelves recently?

A great selection! I need to add The Names to my wishlist.
Thanks for sharing your #TTT.

The Names is a book I’ve gone back and forth on adding to my TBR. It’s an interesting premise, but at the same time I’m not sure I’ll enjoy it.

It’s a book club pick and we don’t meet until the end of the month so you’ll have to wait a bit I’m afraid. Alternatively, of course, I could just ask ChatGPT to write me a review!
