The When Are You Reading? Challenge is being hosted again by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. It involves reading a book predominantly set in (or written in) each of twelve time periods. You can see how I got on with the 2021 challenge here.
I thought it was about time (excuse the pun) I had a look at how I’m getting on with the challenge. Pretty good, as it happens, although the books I’ve been able to match with a time period (shown in bold) differ quite a bit from my provisional list. If you love historical fiction but often find yourself sticking to one or two favourite time periods, or if you’re keen to read more historical fiction in 2022, it’s not too late to join in.
