We’re left to come up with our own topic this week so I’ve chosen to focus on books that feature couples – friends, lovers, siblings, even works of art. Links from each title will take you to my review or the book description on Goodreads.

Juliet & Romeo by David Hewson – Shakespeare’s well-known play turned into a gripping romantic thriller with Juliet as the focus of the narrative.
To mark the fact today is Independence Day in the US, this week’s topic is Book Covers in the Colours of my Country’s Flag. The colours of the United Kingdom flag are red, white and blue which made it pretty simple to grab some paperbacks off my bookshelf. And I even managed to sneak in a reference to my nation with the last book.
