#TopTenTuesday Books With Birds On The Cover #TuesdayBookBlog

Top Ten TuesdayTop Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl.

The rules are simple:

  • Each Tuesday, Jana assigns a new topic. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want.
  • Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to That Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.
  • Add your name to the Linky widget on that day’s post so that everyone can check out other bloggers’ lists.
  • Or if you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.

TTT BirdsThis week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is Covers with [Item] on the Cover. Since I get a lot of pleasure from watching the birds that visit the feeders in my garden (including, lately, a lesser spotted woodpecker and green parakeets), I’ve chosen our feathered friends. Links from the titles will take you to my review or the book description on Goodreads.

  1. I’m not sure where you live, Cathy, but I’ve been wondering when parakeets will make it over to Bath from London. I’ve seen them in most European cities I’ve visited now, even Berlin where it can get chilly in winter.

    1. I live in Reading in Berkshire. So maybe they’re moving in your direction? They seem to love the peanuts we put out & can spend half an hour at a time on the feeder. They’re not that keen to move aside to let one of their fellow parakeets have a go though!
