Today I’m revisiting a Top Ten Tuesday topic from back in June –Β Books On My Summer 2024 To-Read List. I was curious to see how many of the books I put on my list I actually read. Links from each title will take you to my review if I read the book, or the description on Goodreads if I didn’t.
- Magpie Murders by Anthony Horowitz Read
- The Draughtsman by Robert Lautner
- The Legacy of Elizabeth Pringle by Kirsty Wark
- Appetite by Philip Kazan
- Anna of Kleve, Queen of Secrets by Alison Weir
- In This Ravishing World by Nina Schuyler Read
- Dark Frontier by Matthew Harffy Read
- Dead Ground by Graham Hurley Read
- The King’s Mother by Annie Garthwaite Read
- The Instrumentalist by Harriet Constable Read
I’m pretty pleased with how I did although I would have like to read a few more of the older ones (books 1 – 5 on my list).

You did twice as well as me since I only read three from my summer TBR!

To be fair, five of my six were books from NetGalley that were close to publication so that gave me additional motivation. I’m trying not to drop my feedback ratio having worked hard to get it to where it is.

That’s a good motivator. At least I have a low bar to clear for doing better with my Autumn TBR!

I make lists, Cathy, then something else will catch my eye and I’ll read that instead! I think you did rather well. ππ

Thanks. I seem to be the opposite of a mood reader. I like to make a list and stick to it – or at least try to!

I think you did pretty well, Cathy. I didn’t do this TTT because I was doing 20 Books of Summer and Christmas in July. I would have been happy with 6, because I never stick to these lists.
