Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl.
The rules are simple:
- Each Tuesday, Jana assigns a new topic. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want.
- Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to That Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.
- Add your name to the Linky widget on that day’s post so that everyone can check out other bloggers’ lists.
- Or if you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.
This week’s topic is Book Covers/Titles with Things Found in Nature, a topic suggested by Jessica at a GREAT read. My list consists of books with animals in their title. Links from each title will take you to my review.
- The Slowworm’s Song by Andrew Miller
- Wolves of Winter by Dan Jones
- The Night Tiger by Yangsze Choo
- The House of Birds by Morgan McCarthy
- The Island of Sheep by John Buchan
- Essex Dogs by Dan Jones
- The White Hare by Jane Johnson
- Black Butterflies by Priscilla Morris
- Seek the Singing Fish by Roma Wells
- Death and the Penguin by Andrey Kurkov

Great idea! Think I’ve only read The White Hare from your list.

I love spotting animals out in the wild. We picked similar themes this week.

Thanks. Have to admit searching for titles is easier than searching through covers!

I’m lazy LOL. Searching for titles to fit is easier than searching for covers. But I almost went with trees like you.

Great minds think alike! I also did books with animal names in the title, although I focused on birds and insects. I haven’t read any of the ones on your list.
Happy TTT!
