My Five Favourite January 2022 Reads

favourite

I managed to get through 15 books in January, a great start to a new reading year. Links from each title will take you to my review (or the book description on Goodreads). You can find a list of the books I’ve read so far in 2022 here.  If we’re not already friends on Goodreads, send me a friend request or follow my reviews.

The Ends of the Earth by Abbie Greaves (Century) – A tender, insightful and poignant story that’s part romance, part mystery

Betrayal (The Englishman #2) by David Gilman (Head of Zeus) – Gripping and action-packed – everything you could want in a contemporary thriller

The Man in the Bunker (Tom Wilde #6) by Rory Clements (Zaffre) – A compelling spy thriller set in post-WW2 Germany

They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera (Simon & Schuster) – Touching, witty and clever – a January book club pick that I still need to write a review of!

Late City by Robert Olen Butler (No Exit) – A beautifully written and thought-provoking book with an ending that moved me to tears

What books were your favourites in January? Have you read any of my picks?
