Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl.
The rules are simple:
Each Tuesday, Jana assigns a new topic. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want. Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to That Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post. Add your name to the Linky widget on that day’s post so that everyone can check out other bloggers’ lists. Or if you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.
This week’s topic is Books with Nature on the Cover. Flora and fauna seem to have been a popular feature of book covers recently but a tour of some of the older titles on my bookshelves demonstrates they’ve been a favourite for much longer than that. They’re certainly a favourite of mine.
Links from the book titles will take you to my review, where one yet exists!

Song by Michelle Jana Chan
Unsettled Ground by Claire Fuller
Miss Benson’s Beetle by Rachel Joyce
The Familiars by Stacey Halls
The Foundling by Stacey Halls
Miss Austen by Gillian Hornby

Great Meadow by Dirk Bogarde
Wide Sargasso Sea by Jean Rhys
The Greengage Summer by Rumer Godden
Cider With Rosie by Laurie Lee
What lovely images of nature did you find on your bookshelves?

What lovely covers! Yes, older books do seem to feature scenes like these more often.

I have to admit this week’s topic was perfect for me as I’m a sucker for a cover with flowers on it. Not so sure about ravens 😁

I do like a floral cover, I did a Spring post last month with floral covers though so I tried to avoid them in my post last week.

Interesting. I definitely tend to think of flowery covers as a newer trend, but obviously not! These vintage covers are lovely.
Happy TTT!
