#PublicationDay #Spotlight Courage Without Grace by Jeannie Zokan

I loved Jeannie’s first novel The Existence of Pity. It introduced the reader to sixteen-year-old Josie Wales, growing up in 1970s Colombia, South America.  Therefore I was delighted when Jeannie got in touch to let me know her new book, Courage Without Grace, was to be published today. Although it can be read as a standalone, Courage Without Grace continues the story of Josie but it’s now 1983 and she’s living in Washington, DC.

If you’re tempted to grab yourself a copy of Courage Without Grace, the ebook is currently available at a promotional price of only £2.15 from Amazon UK.

Courage Without GraceAbout the Book

Josie Wales doesn’t need her palm reading skills to know her lover is seeing someone else. It’s time to end it, but she’s been with Tom for seven years. And there’s something – someone – she needs to tell him about. That secret keeps pulling her back, but this time she’s determined to break it off.

To find the courage to end the relationship, Josie seeks advice from new acquaintances. But she somehow manages to make an even bigger mess of her life. When Jack, Tom’s twin and her childhood friend, comes to DC to reconnect, he helps Josie get her feet back on the ground.

Just as Josie is beginning to resolve the chaos in her life, a tragic secret from her past comes back to haunt her. Before she can move forward and have a second chance at love, she must face her grief and loss.

Jeannie ZokanAbout the Author

Jeannie Zokan is the author of The Existence of Pity and Courage Without Grace. She grew up in Colombia, South America and after studying Library Science at Baylor University moved to Washington, DC to attend The George Washington University. Much like Josie in Courage Without Grace, she became a palm reader there.

When DC’s cold weather finally did her in, she took her motorcycle to Florida’s Gulf Coast where she now lives ten minutes from the beach with her husband and their cat. When she’s not writing or editing, she’s reading, playing tennis, visiting their two grown daughters, or practicing yoga in their garage gym.
