Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl.
The rules are simple:
Each Tuesday, Jana assigns a new topic. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want. Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to That Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post. Add your name to the Linky widget on that day’s post so that everyone can check out other bloggers’ lists. Or if you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.
This week’s topic is Books I Loved But Never Reviewed. I’ve picked ten books that I read before I started publishing detailed reviews on my blog in November 2016. They are all books I rated five stars. Links from the titles will take you to the brief, in many cases very brief, reviews on Goodreads that I wrote at the time.
Still Alice by Lisa Genova
All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr
The Blue Room by Georges Simenon
A Place Called Winter by Patrick Gale
My Antonia by Willa Cather
Sword at Sunset by Rosemary Sutcliff
Stoner by John Williams
An Officer and a Spy by Robert Harris
The Physician by Noah Gordon
The Spy Who Came in From the Cold by John le Carre
Have you read any of the books on my list?

I very much enjoyed Still Alice too. A brave take on a difficult subject

Still Alice was such a good story, too. Have you seen the film?

The spy that came in from the cold has been on my TBR list since forever. Need to read it! I also loved Still Alice and All the light we cannot see, but didn’t review either.
Great post! Here’s my TTT

I haven’t read any of these, although several of them are on my TBR list. I did start reading ALL THE LIGHT WE CANNOT SEE at some point. The writing was beautiful, but I was bored by the story so I put the book down and haven’t picked it back up. Someday.
Happy TTT!

I loved A Place Called Winter (and yes, I did review it), and enjoyed All the Light as well (yes, I did review it as well). Most of my list (if I had done this one) would have been for books I read before I started blogging!

I have not yet met anyone who disliked all the light you cannot see (perhaps only people who don’t like world war stories). I also loved it!

I’m afraid I haven’t read any of these, Cathy. However Rosemary Sutcliff, Robert Harris and John le Carre are all authors I feel I need to try! 😃
For my TTT list this week, I had trawl back through my memory to a time before my blog to find 10 books I haven’t reviewed: https://thebookwormchronicles.wordpress.com/2020/08/11/top-ten-tuesday-books-i-loved-but-havent-reviewed-yet/ 🙂
