#NonficNov Nonfiction November: New To My Wishlist

Nonfiction November is coming to an end for another year and the final discussion prompt is New to My TBR hosted by Rennie of What’s Nonfiction. Rennie says, ‘It’s been a month full of amazing nonfiction books! Which ones have made it onto your TBR? Be sure to link back to the original blogger who posted about that book’.

As Rennie says it has been a great few weeks celebrating nonfiction books, the majority of which were completely new to me. Three that caught my eye and have been added to my wishlist for when I’m next browsing bookshop shelves are:

The Real Jane Austen: A Life in Small Things by Paula Byrne (reviewed by Brona’s Books) – I recently read There’s Something About Darcy by Gabrielle Malcolm and a few things mentioned about Austen’s life and writing in that book meant this caught my eye.

Forty Autumns by Nina Willner (reviewed by Sarah’s Bookshelves) – This is a book mentioned as part of the Nonfiction November Book Pairings week and the combination of history and memoir sounds fascinating.

The Way to the Sea by Caroline Crampton (reviewed by Books and Me) – This history of the River Thames from its source to the estuary which also has elements of memoir sounds like a great read.

Only three books added to your wishlist you ask… Have you seen the size of my TBR pile?

  1. You’ve done well to just add three to your wish list – my list has grown massively over the last four weeks. I’ve found some brilliant-sounding books though and now just need to win the lottery and add more hours to my days so I can buy and read them all! 😉
